The Last Genuine Leather Company first opened its doors in 1974, on Main Street in Lexington. A year later, Ken moved the shop to the Euclid Ave. location where it remained for 15 years. He then moved close to Ramsey’s original location at High and Woodland. One of Lexington’s oldest shopping districts. Although he loved the area, after 13 years and limited parking, he moved to Southland Dr. The new Southland location has been well received having plenty of parking and being close to Good Foods Coop.
